Choose which days customers can pick up orders from each location. Turn on the pickup date picker and the cart widget shows a calendar where customers pick a pickup date. You can open every day, certain days of the week, or a list of specific dates. Each location has its own calendar.
Before you start
Turn on store pickup in Settings → Store pickup.
Enable Store pickup on the location. See Add and manage pickup and delivery locations.
Turn on the pickup date picker
In the app, go to Locations and open the location.
In the Store pickup card, click Show settings.
Under Date and time pickers, check Enable pickup date picker.
To let customers choose a time as well, check Enable pickup time picker.
Choose the open days under Pickup availability, as described below.
Click Save.
Repeat for each location that offers pickup.

Under Pickup availability, choose one of three options.
Option | Use it when |
Every day of the week | The location is open for pickup every day. |
Specific days of the week | The location is open on the same weekdays every week, for example Monday to Saturday. |
Specific dates of the year | Pickup only happens on certain dates, for example a weekly market or holiday collection days. |

Under Select pickup days:, check each day the location is open for pickup.
Click Save.

Under Pickup dates, pick a date and click Add date. To add a range, pick a start and an end date and click Add dates.
Repeat for each date or range.
Click Save.
Until you add at least one date, the page shows Pickup dates missing, and customers can't check out with pickup from this location.
What customers see
When customers choose this location in the cart widget, a calendar shows the open days. Days that aren't open can't be selected. If you turned on the time picker, customers then choose a pickup time. Customers must choose a date before they can check out, unless you turn off Pickup date is required in Settings → Store pickup.
Things to know
Other settings remove days too. Preparation time, blackout dates, order limits and product date restrictions can take days out of the calendar, even on open days.
How far ahead customers can book. Without a limit, customers can pick any future open date. To limit how far ahead they can book, use Restrict future orders on the location.
Pickup times have their own settings. Pickup times and Pickup slots frequency set the times customers choose from. See Set pickup times and time slots.
Turning the date picker off. Uncheck Enable pickup date picker and customers can choose this location without a date. The cards that depend on dates, such as order limits, future orders, blackout dates and preparation time, are hidden while it's off.
FAQs
Why can't customers select today?
Preparation time or a cutoff time is probably pushing the first date to tomorrow. Check Pickup preparation time on the location. See Store pickup preparation time.
How do I close for a holiday?
Add the date under Blackout dates on the location. To close several locations at once, use Add blackout dates on the Locations page. See Pickup blackout dates.
