What this video covers
This short video opens Notification Settings, then covers turning emails on or off, test emails and admin copies, exporting and importing templates, branding every email at once in Universal Email Settings, and editing one email with a live preview.
In short
In the app menu, open More, then Notification Settings. The Email Notifications tab lists every email, with its subject and whether it's active.
Disable stops an email from being sent. Test Email sends a sample to one of your allowed email addresses. Enable Admin Notification sends your team a copy every time that email goes out.
Export CSV downloads all your templates, and Import CSV brings an edited file back.
Universal Email Settings sets your branding for every email at once: your logo, your colors, the Manage subscription button, and the From and Reply-to addresses.
Edit opens one email. Under Email Details, write the subject line. Add Variable inserts details like the customer's first name. You can also give the email its own From, BCC and Reply-to addresses, or send it only to your team.
Each section below controls one part of the email: logo, heading, content, addresses, the call to action button, labels and footer. The preview uses live data from one of your subscriptions and updates as you edit. Reset Email Template brings back the default template, and Save keeps your changes.
On the Custom tab, the Business plan and higher can use their own email HTML.
For every email and when it's sent, see How to customize emails.
