What this video covers
The Schedule step of a subscription option: renewing on each customer's sign-up date, on one day for everyone, or on fixed calendar dates; the order cutoff; trying a sign-up date in How it works; and where customers see their next renewal.
In short
Open your plan, click Edit on a subscription option and choose Schedule. Renewal schedule has three choices: Purchase date, Specific day and Fixed calendar dates. How it works, on the right, shows what your choice does: click a day on its calendar to try a sign-up date.
Purchase date renews each customer on the day they subscribed. Specific day renews everyone on the same day: a monthly option asks for the day of the month, a weekly one for the weekday, and a yearly one for the month too. It needs weekly, monthly or yearly deliveries (change Deliver every in Basics).
Order cutoff is a number of days before the renewal day, up to 31 on a monthly option. Someone who subscribes inside it is charged now and gets their first order right away, but their next charge skips that renewal day.
Fixed calendar dates renews only on dates you add and needs Pay as you go (under How customers pay in Basics). Add dates with Add date or Multiple dates: at least two, up to 24 a year. Billing frequency at checkout is the interval customers see at checkout and in their portal; it updates as you add dates. The order cutoff works here too.
Changes apply to new subscriptions; current subscribers keep their dates. Click Done, then Save the plan. Customers see their next renewal under Next Renewal Date in their customer portal.
