How to add a reward in Ways to redeem: the rewards list (switch, drag to reorder, Edit columns and each row's actions), Rules for every reward, and the Add a reward gallery with all seven kinds. It builds an Amount off order reward and covers step 1, Reward (points, fixed amount or percentage), step 2, Applies to (Minimum order, Purchase type and Left out products) and step 4, Combinations. It ends on your store, where the loyalty popup lists the new reward and a customer redeems it for a discount code. In short
Open Ways to redeem in the sidebar. Your rewards lists every reward: the switch turns one on or off (paused rewards stay hidden from customers), drag a row to change the order customers see, and Edit columns adds Redeemed and Points spent counts. Rules for every reward shows how long reward codes and store credit last and whether points come back when a code expires unused; Change in the editor opens those settings.
Click Add a reward, pick a kind (Amount off order, Free shipping, Free product, Amount off products, Amount off a collection, Store credit or Customers choose points), then click Add reward. The new reward appears at the top of the list marked New, and you see it in the preview before you save.
Step 1, Reward: set Customers spend (the points) and Customers get as a Fixed amount or a Percentage. While the reward is new, its name follows the values, for example "10% off your order".
Step 2, Applies to: Minimum order is No minimum or Minimum order with an Orders over amount. Purchase type sets whether the code works on One-time purchases, Subscriptions or Both (subscriptions need a subscription app on your store). Under More options, Left out products lists the products the discount does not cover. Step 4, Combinations: tick Product discounts, Other order discounts or Shipping discounts to let the code be used with them (the other discount has to allow it too).
Click Save in the title bar. On your store, the loyalty popup lists the new reward under Ways to redeem, and a customer with enough points clicks Redeem to get a discount code.
