What customers see at checkout after choosing Local Delivery in the cart
In short
Select Sync Rates to send all your rates to Shopify again. A rate marked Not synced to Shopify won't show at checkout.
Internal rate name, Rate name and Rate amount are all required. Customers see the Rate name at checkout; you see the Internal rate name in your rates list.
A Flat rate is one price for every order. Order Amount and Weight Based rates apply only between the minimum and maximum you set; leave the maximum empty for no limit.
In Rate calculation setup, Use carrier-calculated rates is recommended if you sell subscriptions: new subscriptions then start on the method the customer chose. It needs Shopify's Carrier Calculated Shipping API, included on the Advanced and Plus plans, and on the Shopify plan with yearly billing or as a paid add-on. Use delivery customization is the default and works on every Shopify plan, but Shopify may start new subscriptions on the cheapest rate, such as free Pickup.
Fallback rates choose what checkout offers when none of your rates fit what the customer chose: Shipping, Pickup or Local Delivery. Pickup and Local Delivery also need a location.
