Configuring LoyaltyLion and Appstle℠ Subscriptions
In order to configure Loyalty Lion and Appstle℠ Subscriptions in your Shopify store, please follow the below steps:
Step 1: Install LoyaltyLion on your Shopify admin.
On that is done, you will be able to find the app under the App Integration section of your Appstle Subscriptions merchant navigation panel, like in the below screenshot.
Step 2: Go to your LoyaltyLion merchant navigation/dashboard, and click on Manage. Click on Settings from the drop down of Configuration. Copy the Token Key and Secret keys. Secret keys is just a different word for Private APIs!

Step 3: Open your Appstle℠ Subscriptions merchant panel, and navigate to the App Integrations section.
Step 4: Choose the LoyaltyLion app, and paste the Token Key and Secret key you copied earlier, into the relevant fields.
Step 5: Enter the Points to be awarded or the Points Multiplier you wish to add.
The 2 options (Points option and Points Multiplier option) are slightly different and will have different impact on your shoppers’ total loyalty points.
To further explain with an example, if you choose the ‘points option’ and input 10 pts for every subscription contract above $50, your shoppers will all get 10 pts when they subscribe to your products, irrespective of the dollar value of the Subscription.
If you were to instead choose the ‘points multiplier option’, you will be able to add an additional layer to the points calculation, that takes into account the order value. Going back to the same example, apart from assigning 10 pts to a subscription order of $50, you can add a multiplier of 2. This will ensure that the points your shoppers receive multiples by 2, for every $50 increase in their subscription order. A $50 order will get 10 points. A $100 order will get 20 points.
