You can configure free trials while creating your subscription plan(s) to give your customers the opportunity to test out your products before they commit.
Note: This article assumes that you already have a basic understanding of how subscription plans are created in our app. If you require more information on this, please refer to our dedicated help doc here.
To do this, you will need to make use of our Advanced Settings, shown below.
Click on this link to reveal all of the advanced features you currently have access to (depends on you tier of plan).
There will be 3 additional fields you will need to fill out upon enabling: Trial Period, discount offer during trial period, and discount offer after trial period ends.
As this will be for a free trial, you will need to set discount offer during trial period to 100%. As for the rest of the fields, fill them out with whatever values make the most sense for your use case.
Just as an example, the subscription plan in the screenshot below is equipped with a 7-day free trial, with the discount being reduced to 20% once the trial period is over.
When you are finished, scroll back up to the top of the page and hit Save in the upper-right to set your plan.
You're all set!
