The onboarding wizard opens the first time you open the app, and you can reopen it with the onboarding wizard link on the Dashboard. Moving from another app? Choose I'm migrating and click Chat With Us. Starting fresh? Choose I'm new here and click Start Setup Wizard.

Step two turns on the app embed, which the membership widget needs. Open Shopify Theme Setting opens your theme editor in a new tab with Appstle Memberships switched on. Click Save, come back to the app, and click Next once the button reads App Embed Enabled.

Create Membership Plan: click Create Plan to set up what customers buy to become members. The step is checked once you have a plan, and the plan page has its own Watch guide.

Enable Membership Portal and Enable Manage Membership Button show only if your store uses Shopify's new customer accounts. Embed opens Shopify's checkout and accounts editor: search for Membership, add Membership management to Accounts, add Manage Membership Button to Profile and Orders, and click Save. Do the portal step first, because the button opens that page. Each step is checked only when you click Mark as Complete.

Add Member Perks and Widget Setup are optional. The widget shows on product pages by default, and Widget Setup links to a guide for the cart page.
